A New Genealogy Collection for the New Year

The Grosvenor Room is pleased to announce that we are now offering a genealogy how-to circulating book collection. Buffalo & Erie County Public Library card holders may borrow these books in-person at the Central Library, or have them transferred to another B&ECPL location. Those who live outside of Buffalo & Erie County may borrow the books through their local library if the library offers interlibrary loan service.

Searching the library’s online catalog for a title will show that an item is in the Grosvenor Room circulating collection. The online catalog is accessible at https://bepl.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/default.

Once you find the title of interest, select it.

Then scroll to the item’s availability to see if it circulates. The new collection’s home location is “Grosvenor Room – Circulating Genealogy Books.”

Of course, other B&ECPL locations offer genealogy books that check out too. This book also circulates from the Audubon, Aurora, and West Seneca libraries as indicated by the “Open Shelf” status.
